Who does my money go to?
The Gobble Wobble 5K is a non-profit race. All profits are donated to the Sunman and North Dearborn Food Pantries. All organizers are non-paid volunteers.
What do the Sunman and North Dearborn Food Pantries do?
The Sunman and North Dearborn Food Pantries provide food, clothing, and other services to the residents in need of Dearborn County Indiana.
How can I volunteer to help at the GW5K event?
We're so glad you're interested in helping this event come to life! Simply go to our online registration at RunSignUp.com, choose "Volunteers" in the toolbar at the top of the page, and complete your volunteer registration online for the preferred volunteer duties! We'll be in touch shortly before the day your volunteer services are needed to inform you of your specific responsibilities.
Are there start corrals for runners and walkers?
Yes! Runners will be positioned closest to the starting line at the beginning of the race with times corral markers for your approximate mile time. Competitive walkers will then proceed behind the runners, followed by those registered as "walkers". Since the event is chip-timed, we will use this for the official timing at the end of the event.
What happens in the case of severe weather?
Please check the “Gobble Wobble - Feeding the Hungry” Facebook page for up-to-date information on race day!
If the event is cancelled due to weather, no refunds will be given; all monies collected will be considered a donation.
Can I bring my pet to the Gobble Wobble 5K?
While we know that God's creatures come in many shapes and sizes, we ask you do not bring your pet to the GW5K due to health and safety reasons of our participants.
Are Thanksgiving themed costumes permitted?
Who wouldn't want to see a turkey costume Gobble Wobblin' an entire 5K course!? Certainly we welcome Thanksgiving themed costumes!
